Delaware Senator Joseph Biden that he plans on running for president in 2008, stating that going after the Democratic nomination “is a real possibility” on “Meet the Press” on Sunday. He said he would be hitting the road to tell people about his policies, and would give himself until the end of the year to determine if he can gain enough financial and political support. Biden previously ran for president in 1988, but dropped out of the race after suspicion about his law school records and the originality of his speeches arose.
