Disaster along the Gulf Coast
My heart goes out to the hundreds of thousands who have left their homes along the Gulf of Mexico, and the many who have had their homes destroyed by hurricane Katrina. I really don’t know what to say other than that. Stranded people must be rescued. Looters must be stopped. Evacuees tended to. I can only hope that people down there are doing everything they can to help each other, that city, state, and federal agencies are doing everything they can, and that resources from across the nation are diverted to assist the stricken areas.
