Five overgrown altar boys on the supreme court - I reckon this is as close as Bainbridge has come to a wet dream in a very long time.

In the Reuter report linked by Michelle Malkin in "Alito's confirmation" at the bottom of the page-Judge Alito sworn in (If I were computer savvy,I'd link it for you, sorry), you can damn near hear the Reuter "reporter" kickin' a trash can across the office floor into the wall. It being a short story is your first clue. The last eleven words in the opening paragraph could've been left out (no pun intended) and are the second clue. The following five paragraphs remain untainted as the report isn't from the NYT, so the quotes presumably were just that. Finally the trash can sails! The closing paragraph/statement could've been written by "the swimmer" on one of his good days, if he's ever had one since floating to the top of the river, due to the empty bottles in his pockets and the cavernous void twixt'is ears!

Why can't the facts just be reported as they are, without the obvious overtones and overbearing embellishments of clueless reporters who can never resist attempting to teach us their version of the truth?
